Global Village Unveils New Attractions for Landmark 30th Season
Dubai’s premier multicultural family destination, Global Village, is set to launch its highly anticipated 30th season on October 15th, introducing a host of new attractions and major upgrades. The upcoming season promises an enhanced experience for visitors with the debut of several immersive zones and significant facility improvements.
The headline addition is the interactive walkthrough experience, Dragon Kingdom. This adventure features 11 uniquely themed rooms where guests are transported to the mythical world of Blackstone Hollow. Visitors will embark on a quest to help Ignis, the last dragon, regain his lost power by solving puzzles and gathering clues, navigating through environments ranging from enchanted forests to fiery caves.
A second major new feature is the Gardens of the World, a beautifully landscaped area showcasing exotic floral compositions and iconic symbols from around the globe. Located between the Egypt and Iran pavilions, it will provide a serene space for strolls, relaxation, and photography. Beyond new attractions, the entire park is undergoing substantial enhancements. The Main Stage area is being completely revamped to host larger live performances and cultural shows, while new digital screens and LED wayfinders will improve guest navigation.
The iconic Dragon Lake is also receiving an upgrade, including the replacement of its Guinness World Record-holding underwater screen with a higher-definition display and adding new fiery effects to its central dragon statue. Several popular zones are being refreshed; Fiesta Street is expanding, the Railway Market is being transformed into the Dessert District, and Road of Asia returns as Asia Boulevard, all contributing to a renewed and more engaging guest experience for the landmark anniversary season.
