World’s Tech Giants to Converge in Dubai for GITEX GLOBAL 2025

Dubai is set to host the world’s largest technology and artificial intelligence event, GITEX GLOBAL 2025, next week. From October 13 to 17, the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) will welcome industry leaders from across the globe for the 45th edition of this flagship exhibition.

The event will gather an unprecedented 6,800 technology companies and 2,000 startups from 180 countries, showcasing breakthroughs in biotechnology, AI, quantum computing, semiconductors, and data centers. This convergence occurs amidst a global race to harness AI’s potential, with UNCTAD forecasting the industry to be worth US$4.8 trillion by 2033.

Major global corporations confirmed to participate include Alibaba Cloud, AMD, AWS, Dell, Google, HPE, Huawei, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, and Siemens. They will be joined by new participants such as Cerebras, Mitsubishi, Qualcomm, and ServiceNow. A record number of international delegations is expected, with Brazil leading as the partner country. New national pavilions from Canada, Chile, Spain, and Turkey will also be featured.

A key focus will be on data center infrastructure, following a BofA Research projection that global investments will surpass US$500 billion this year. Highlights include a presentation by O’Leary Ventures on plans for the world’s largest AI data center industrial park in Canada. In the health tech sector, the GITEX Digi Health & Biotech track will explore AI’s transformative role in medicine, featuring talks on CRISPR-based gene editing and breakthroughs in neurotechnology. Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President of DWTC, stated that the event provides new momentum for these transformative technologies, acting as a harbinger of innovative progress across all industries and economies.
