Dubai residents can now earn rewards worth over Dh3,000 by inviting family and friends to visit
Dubai has launched a new tourism initiative that gives residents a reason to welcome their loved ones to the city. Through the “A Dubai Invite” programme, eligible UAE residents and citizens can receive rewards worth more than Dh3,000when family members or friends from overseas come to visit Dubai.
The campaign, introduced by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), is designed to encourage more international visitors while rewarding residents for helping showcase the city. Instead of cash payments, participants receive a package of travel and lifestyle benefits that can include complimentary hotel stays, dining experiences, attraction tickets and exclusive lifestyle offers.
The programme is open to UAE citizens and residents aged 18 and above who hold a valid Emirates ID. Invited guests must be non-UAE residents travelling to Dubai on a valid tourist visa or entering under a visa-on-arrival scheme. To qualify, visitors must arrive in Dubai between July 20 and October 31, 2026.
Taking part is straightforward. Residents register through the official Visit Dubai platform, submit their own details along with information about the friends or relatives they wish to invite, and once the visitor’s arrival is verified through official government systems, the rewards package is activated. The campaign does not cover visa applications, flights or accommodation costs for visitors, which remain their responsibility.
One resident can submit multiple nominations, although each visitor can only be nominated once during the campaign. According to campaign guidelines, residents can unlock up to three separate rewards packages, making it possible to benefit from inviting several different visitors during the promotional period.
The initiative reflects Dubai’s continued focus on tourism and community engagement. Rather than relying solely on international marketing campaigns, the city is encouraging residents themselves to become ambassadors by introducing friends and relatives to everything Dubai has to offer—from world-class hotels and restaurants to attractions, entertainment and cultural experiences.
