Katy Perry to headline Atlantis Dubai’s New Year’s Eve gala
Katy Perry is returning to the UAE for one of Dubai’s most anticipated New Year’s Eve celebrations, taking centre stage at Atlantis, The Palm on December 31, 2026.
The global pop star will headline the resort’s annual gala dinner, bringing her catalogue of chart-topping hits to Palm Jumeirah for a black-tie celebration featuring live entertainment, fine dining and a spectacular fireworks display.
Tickets start at Dh8,500 per adult, while exclusive VIP suites are available for up to Dh400,000.
Katy Perry returns to Dubai
The performance marks Perry’s return to Atlantis, The Palm, where she previously appeared at an invitation-only Dubai Airshow gala in November 2015.
It also comes just over a year after she closed the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concert series at Etihad Park, performing on December 7 as the final stop of her Lifetimes Tour.
That show combined tracks from her 2024 album 143 with some of her biggest hits, including Teenage Dream, Roar, Dark Horse and Firework.
Perry is no stranger to celebrating New Year’s Eve in the Emirates. On December 31, 2017, she performed on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, welcoming 2018 with Firework.
Her history with the UAE stretches back even further, including an appearance at the closing ceremony of the World Parachuting Championships in Dubai in 2012.
A black-tie celebration on Palm Jumeirah
Atlantis Dubai has built an international reputation for its New Year’s Eve galas, previously welcoming major performers such as Maroon 5.
This year’s event will begin at 6pm on December 31, with an evening of theatrical performances, live entertainment and dining before Perry takes to the stage.
Guests will enjoy views across Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai skyline, with the celebrations culminating in a fireworks display stretching from Atlantis, The Palm towards Atlantis The Royal.
Kym Barter, managing director of Atlantis Dubai, welcomed Perry’s return, highlighting the resort’s tradition of bringing internationally recognised artists to its year-end celebrations.
How much are tickets?
Several seating categories are available, ranging from premium gala access to private suites.
Premium seating starts at Dh8,500 for guests aged 14 and above, with children’s tickets priced at Dh6,500 for ages four to 13. Children under three can attend free of charge.
Rouge Circle tickets, offering views closer to the stage, start at Dh10,500 for adults and Dh7,500 for children.
For guests seeking a more exclusive experience, Golden Circle tickets begin at Dh14,500. The package includes private seating directly in front of the stage, a caviar box with personalised truffle service and unlimited premium beverages. Children’s tickets start at Dh8,500.
VIP suites reach Dh400,000
Atlantis is also offering two elevated VIP Sky Suite experiences for groups of up to 10 guests.
The Aurora suite starts at Dh250,000, while the Celestial suite is priced from Dh400,000.
Both include a private butler, dining from selected Atlantis restaurants, access to the gala buffet and premium beverages.
The suites are designed for guests who want a private setting while enjoying the concert and New Year’s Eve spectacle.
Dubai prepares for a star-studded New Year
With Perry confirmed as the headline act, Atlantis is preparing another large-scale celebration that combines international entertainment with Dubai’s luxury hospitality scene.
For fans, the evening offers a chance to hear one of pop music’s most recognisable voices in an intimate resort setting rather than a traditional stadium concert.
And as the clock approaches midnight, her return to Dubai will provide the soundtrack to one of the city’s signature New Year’s Eve fireworks displays.
