Dubai Courts launches civil marriage service for non-Muslims
Dubai courts are expecting a surge in demand for civil registration services for non-Muslim foreigners when the new family law comes into effect from February 1, 2023. Expats can get a marriage registration certificate within 24 hours.
To encourage foreigners to get married and inform them about the new service, Dubai Courts have launched an awareness campaign in foreign languages, inviting UAE residents to the “registry office”.

It is worth noting that more than 5,000 expat couples in Abu Dhabi married last year at the court for non-Muslims.
